About us
Crusade for Greater Nigeria on Poverty Eradication & Social Matters (CFGN) is a non-profit, non-governmental and social marketing organization (NGO), born out of an inspiration received by its Founder and President, Engr. Prosper Okafor – De Professor, in December 2004, at Shiloh – an annual Christian convention of Living Faith Church (a.k.a. Winners Chapel) holding at Canaan Land, Ota, Nigeria.
CFGN is incorporated by the Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with Certificate Number CAC/IT/No. 24949, as an Incorporated Trustee and not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO), under the Companies & Allied Matters Act (Part C) of 1990.
THE CFGN PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Engr. Prosper Okafor, De Professor, MNSE, MNIEEE, FIDAN, FCIA, FYFWP PRESIDENT & FOUNDER Born on 12th May 1974 at Ihiala, Anambra State, South-East Nigeria. Engr. Prosper who was exceptionally brilliant and highly intelligent spent only 4-years in the primary school. He obtained distinctions in Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and proceeded to the University where he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996. He also obtained a Professional Post-Graduate Diploma (PPGD) in Development Planning, Policy and Administration (DPPA) in 2008. In the bead to contribute his own quota in the development of Nigeria, Engr. Prosper founded Crusade for Greater Nigeria on Poverty Eradication and Social Matters (CFGN) – a non-profit and social marketing non-governmental organization (NGO). He has been using his NGO in touching the lives of people in many positive ways. Through CFGN, Engr. Prosper and his visionary team have implemented numerous self and donor supported projects and programs in different parts of Nigeria.
